What fascinated me about the Ancient America Collection was that it was inspired by the extinct, huge prehistoric jaguars of the Central America.
H. Stern's masterpiece chose to transform the respect and mystery these cultures had for animals into jewelry. The result is these articulated pieces in multicolored gold and diamonds that remind us of fish scales, condor feathers, jaguar spots and serpent skin.
